On Tuesday, April 23rd, our lives took a turn we never expected. We received news that without a miracle from the Lord, our dream of having biological children might not come true. Yet, nestled within the heartache, a deeper calling from the Lord emerged. From the very beginning of our journey together, Clay and I shared a vision of opening our home and hearts to a child who needed love, regardless of being biologically ours. Little did we know, this calling would manifest much sooner than we imagined. A dear friend with the Georgia Baptist Pastor Wellness program opened a door for us, and within days, we found ourselves on a path we never anticipated. Attending a minister and wives conference in Tifton, we were introduced to couples who had stood precisely where we stood. Their stories echoed hope, resilience, and the profound joy of adoption.

Over that weekend, amidst conversations and connections, the Lord's unwavering peace settled upon us, and we knew in our hearts that adoption was our path forward. Since surrendering to this calling, doors have swung wide open, confirming that this is indeed our journey and adventure.

Now, we stand on the precipice of a beautiful adventure, raising funds for our adoption. We understand the financial hurdles, but we also recognize the priceless gift awaiting us at the end of this road—a child meant for us, chosen by God.
