Common Questions About Making Custom Gifts

What is digital printing? How will it look?: With orders of 6 or fewer shirts, we use digital printing. Printing your art or photograph digitally allows us to use an unlimited array of colors to capture all the tones and details of your original design. We process your artwork by computer and then print it directly onto the surface of your product. Digital printing is not a heat transfer or appliqu'e; it is a permanent process that adheres the ink to the fabric of your shirt. On darker shirts, you might detect a difference in vibrancy from your original art, so if you want a true reproduction of your original artwork, you might want to choose a white shirt.
How will my uploaded photo or artwork print?: If you provide us with a good image, we can make a great print! To do the best job with your artwork, we need an image with a minimum 72 DPI for dark ink on a light shirt, and 120 DPI for light ink on a dark shirt, at actual print size. How do I add a name or number to my design?: You probably noticed an "Add Names" button in The Lab. But since you are ordering a single shirt, skip this step and just create your personalization the way you would a new design. Rotate your shirt to the back, and then simply use the green "Add Text" button to personalize your shirt with a name and number. If you want your name or number to look like our standard personalization, use our Varsity font (this can be found under the "Popular" Font Category) and size to 2.5. For a number, we usually use Varsity in font size 10. But because this is your own one-of-a-kind shirt, feel free to use any font and size that you like! Watch How

How do I order multiple designs?: To place your orders through our website, each of your designs would require an individual order. This may be fine if you are sending shirts to different addresses. But if you want all your shirts to go to the same address, we will be happy to place your orders for you. All we need is the full list of design names, the corresponding styles and sizes and the email address that they're all saved under. When you have this information ready, give us a call at 1-800-293-4232 and our service reps will place your orders for you.
When will my order be shipped and delivered?: Our orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. Within the United States, standard delivery will guarantee that your order arrives in 14 days. Rush orders will guarantee that your order arrives in 7 days-and that's "REAL" days, not just business days! Due to the potential delays of shipping across borders, we are unable to guarantee delivery dates to Canada.
