Role
We seek friendly and reliable individuals to help customers have a great experience with CustomInk as part of our dedicated Order Operations team. You must understand and care about satisfying customers and have both an eye for aesthetics and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities
As a Production Artist, you are responsible for the preparation and completion of artwork files and worksheets for custom product orders. You will manipulate and produce finished artwork files for designs created by customers using our web design tool, and be expected to produce a high volume of technically accurate work throughout the day. In addition, you will be required to script well-written internal and external communication.
Measures of Success
You will be responsible for contributing to customer satisfaction as part of the Order Operations team with the timely preparation of artwork and supporting materials to ensure the execution of customer orders produces the best possible end result. Accordingly, the key measures of success for this role will be:
- Productivity – Maintaining targeted expectations for average number of orders completed per day
- Accuracy – Maintaining targeted expectations for technical execution and quality of work
- Teamwork – Working together to enhance customers' and teammates' experience with CustomInk
Qualifications
The ideal candidate is a friendly and reliable self-motivator looking for a great first or early professional experience. This job requires substantial computer work, so you must possess basic computer skills, and experience with Adobe Illustrator is a must. CustomInk will provide extensive training on our internal systems as well as training on printing and graphics; prior experience with decoration methods of screen-printing and/or embroidery would be a plus but is not required. You should also have an artistic eye and feel very confident in your ability to proof designs for grammar and spelling errors. You will be expected to be a team player in our fun, intense, and results-oriented environment, so you must be helpful, professional, and able to learn quickly.
