Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Quality Assurance Analyst/Automation Engineer to lead software quality assurance efforts for our Operations Technology group. The Software Quality Assurance Engineer/Analyst will share responsibilities for gathering requirements and acceptance criteria with the Requirements Analyst, and will have ownership of test planning/execution, automated tools development/implementation, and related documentation.

In addition to ownership of existing quality assurance activities, the Quality Assurance Analyst/Automation Engineer will also create reliable, replicable, and scalable QA tools and testing processes which will be vital for our future growth. This is an opportunity to apply a wide range of technical, process, and communication skills on a daily basis, while also building a foundation for future growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical skills, requirements analysis experience, and strong team development/relationship skills including:

  • Minimum of 5 years successful experience in engineering or Quality Assurance in agile development environments
  • Sincere passion for delivering the highest quality software products
  • Direct experience working on web applications serving business users
  • Strong technical foundation including a BS in Computer Science or related field
  • Deep understanding of various software testing methodologies and evolving open source tools. Proven experience applying that knowledge in managing small/mid-sized technology teams
  • Proven ability to build/modify code for open source test automation tools, candidates with experience developing with Selenium testing tools will receive preference
  • Experience as a lead or sole member of a software testing effort where the development of policy, procedure and tools was within your scope
  • References who can attest to your professional history of assuming full of ownership of Quality Assurance efforts and customer satisfaction
