"As members of the Washington Civil War Association we are the US Medical unit portraying medical staff, the Chaplaincy, various support functions and civilians during the American Civil War 1861-1865. We educate the public about life in the early 1860's and the US Medical does it's part telling the story of medical practices in the Union and Confederate armies.
