"This was our first year joining the Lupus Foundation of Northern California. Aliyah was diagnosed last year with Lupus Nephritis. She was hospitalized for 8 weeks and continues to take numerous medications and has regularly doctor visits every month. We decided to join this year's Lupus Walk/Run to support those affected with Lupus. I wanted to create a team to show Aliyah how much of our family and friends are with her through this journey. I knew that creating a team and having shirts made for everyone will show how we all come together for a very important cause. Making a design, gathering shirt sizes and placing a big order was not easy but with the help from everyone at CustomInk, they made it a seamless process. Everyone loved our shirts, the design, the colors and how big of a group/team we were. Not knowing that there was a category, at the event they announced Aliyah's Warrior's 2nd place largest team with 54 team members. She was very excited to win her first trophy. Thank you CustomInk for making our shirts look good. We look forward to ordering more shirts as we continue to join the Lupus Walk/Run annually and adding many more supporters every year. "
