BIG GIVERS

"On Tuesday, December 9th, 2014, 250 beautifully ordinary people from Alamogordo, New Mexico, decided to come to a BIG GIVE Christmas Party where the entertainment would be...giving. Members dressed in their RED Custom Ink Shirts created 25 teams that would go out and bless a family who wasn't expecting a Christmas this year. With only two hours, they gave to families who had recent deaths, who had personal tragedies, who were raising other people's kids or who were suffering from sickness or poverty. In addition to blessing a family, each team was given $5 to buy happiness which turned into passing out candy canes, buying coffee for strangers and making sure the homeless were fed. One team even exchanged their money into quarters giving away 29 gum balls of happiness! Finally, each team was given a random act of kindness for a business or a person. Teams bought the firefighters and cops dinner, tips were given to waitresses and a couple got a tank of gas. One team even helped restock the toy department at a store.
