Central Park Breast Cancer Walk

"The Cancer walk took place October 18th in Central Park. Maria Acosta (age 39), my sister in law to be passed away October 11th after a tireless fight against breast cancer. She beat breast cancer and it came back to her brain and spine. In March 2014 she was rediagnosed with the metastasized breast cancer and was given three to six months to live. She fought hard for her three daughters (ages 8,18 and 21) and husband. Unfortunately after all her fighting and suffering God decided he needed her in heaven. She will not be able to attend our wedding and June 2016 and will miss out on so many beautiful life events but we have some comfort in knowing she is in a better place where she can walk and is pain free. Cancer is a terrible disease and I hope a cure is found soon so nobody else has to pass away and miss out on a beautiful life anymore. She is missed soo much but continues to live in all our hearts. Every year we promised to wear these hoodies in her honor and walk with all the others whose life has been affected by this terrible disease." - http://m.main.acsevents.org/site/TR?fr_id=69989&pg=team&team_id=1946341 - TeamUla (Oct 19, 2015)
