""Hit the ball down the pitcher's throat!!!" That is a quote my father Jim - or Coach Hinkle to the hundreds of youngsters he coached - used to say when we went to bat. In memory of my dad, who lost a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in March, and in tribute to the many years he devoted to coaching softball, we took that same fiery competition by hitting the cover off of ALS and raising over $5,500 for the ALS Assocation DC/MD/VA Chapter! Thanks to the beautiful sweatshirts we ordered from CustomInk.com, we looked like All-Stars!
