"Every spring Students from East rockaway High School join the my team in the Great Strides walk to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis research. The number of students walking grows a little larger every year. So much so we need to reserve a bus to transport all of the students to the walk held at the campus of New York Institute of Technology on Long Island NY. This year's walk was a little more meaningful to us all. Even after all the devastation to our homes and our school due to Super Storm Sandy the students still showed up in force to make this year's walk even more successful for our team."
