"This picture was taken at the New Orleans Heart Walk for the American Heart Association. It is an event that we do each year, and this was our second time using custom ink to create awesome team shirts. My daughter Fiona (middle right) was born with multiple congenital heart defects, a birth defect that affects 1 in every 100 children. It is both the most common and deadliest birth defect. We walked in honor of her and all of the other heart warriors, including her friend Addie (middle left). Capturing this moment of four children, just being kids, may not seem big to some, but to parents who have faced the uncertainty of handing their infant over to have their tiny heart mended, it means more than any words can express. "
