Kolanvyi Stickball

"This photograph was taking at the practice field in Cherokee NC. The women are wearing matching T-shirts made by CustomInk and the men are wearing matching shorts also made by CustomInk. Every year, 12 men are selected from each community to compete in a game that was first played by the animals. The first ball game was the Birds against the 4 legged animals. In the end the birds won! The only rule we have in this game is, you cannot pick the ball up with your hand. Some say it's one of the if not the most roughest game on earth.
