Mamaw's Mascots

"My mom was training to run her 2nd marathon last year and we were going to surprise her at the finish line. After hurting herself she was unable to run. She trained again this year and committed to running the Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. Once we (her 5 children and 4 grandchildren) heard that she would be running this year we planned a trip to Indianapolis to surprise her at the finish line. We drove from Upstate NY to Indianapolis and waiting just around the last corner of the race with cowbells and clappers yelling her name, "Mamaw" which is what the grandkids call her and hence the words on the shirt "Mamaw's Mascots. She was so surprised her draw dropped and as she continued down her last stretch to the finish line she looked over at her husband, he was running with her, and said "was that my family?". We greeted her at the finish line where tears filled everyone's eyes because we were all so happy to be part of her big day and she was so overwhelmed that we had made the trip to see her finish the race. Her results of the marathon have qualified her to run the Boston Marathon and we will all make a trip to Boston in 2017 to see her run!! I appreciate all the help and support the Customer Service Team gave me when Jaime emailed me after the race to see how everything went I was so happy that she actually took the time to reach out to me!
