The flag is speech and should be protected, but attempting to use it to provoke a disturbance is something schools have a right to stomp on. Immediate breach of the peace/Time, place & Manner - call it what you want. If people are going to try to start a fight and then hide behind the first amendment, they will find its not much of a shield.Although - while you're ignoring race, ask yourself if this were 5 Mexican Americans being asked to turn their Mexican flag shirts inside out on flag day - do you suppose that1) This would be as likely to get the media play2) That said coverages would be linked to on this blog; and 3) You'd be here posting about how 5 Mexican Americans were oppressed?
