"I started MrazWomen, a group of gals who became friends online because of our love for Jason Mraz. We've been seeing some of his shows together for almost 3 years now, and this year I decided to have CustomInk print our shirts. It turned out awesome...everybody loves them, even the people we made shirts for, like Mona Tavakoli (Jason's percussionist) and Philly Brentnall (Jason's fan liaison). We sent one to Jason too...I'm sure he loved it as well!
So the gals who were scheduled to come see Jason's San Francisco show last September 1 at America's Cup Pavillion went to the venue early and all wore our MrazWomen shirts, and through them we immediately were able to establish rapport with the staff and security of the venue, who told each other, "Hey, as long as someone has that tee on, it's understood that they're in front of the line!"
The photograph was taken while the MrazWomen were in line, a full 7 hours before the doors opened for the concert. We were obviously very excited (that's me up front) and very happy to be there and be in each other's company (check out the photobombers at the back...they're happy to be included, too!). Remember that we first started out as friends online and that only a few gals from the group ever make it to official meetups every year.
My experience working with CustomInk was exceptional. In the past I've had trouble getting my designs for my group printed through other services (because it has Jason's name on it), but the CustomInk reps I was in contact with recognized our fandom. I was more than happy to get appropriate permission to use his name in our shirts, but after an email or two a CustomInk rep got back to me and told me everything was a-OK on their end and that my design was good as is. Besides that, I generally felt like I was an important customer. I was confident that whatever question or issue I may have about my order, there was always someone available to get back to me with an answer. I am DEFINITELY using CustomInk's services again for next year's t-shirt! :-)"
