"We are a class of Optometry students and made shirts for a boat cruise in Miami. We customized our shirts that say "Base down for what?" In reference to our use of prisms in glasses. The base of the prism has to have a direction associated (up, down, in, or out) in order to be properly placed in the glasses. This is often a difficult concept to learn as the prism moves the location of the image (like looking in a diamond). We loved the shirts and had a great time!! "
