"During the month of October, we celebrated "Bully Prevention Month" at Page County Middle School (VA). Throughout the month of October, students learned facts about bullying. On October 22nd, students wore orange to signify UNITY in our stance against bullying. Students and staff were given the opportunity to purchase our custom t-shirts: "Panthers United. Bully free: It starts with me!" Students were also given a challenge each week, such as ‘take time to meet a new friend’ and ‘do an act of kindness for someone you don't know.’ Students created chain-links about how they make school a better place (displayed in photo). These links show that we can make a bigger difference by doing so, together.
