"The Rallying for Caitlin team participated in The Energy For Life Walk in Charlotte, NC. This event raises money for research to find a cure for mitochondrial disease (mito). My great niece, Caitlin, has mito. The mitochondria is the energy center for the body's systems which controls the autonomic system. It has affected her heart rate, digestive and excretion systems the most. Caitlin has such a positive attitude and is a great warrior with mito. The team's t-shirts really made a positive statement at the walk. "
