"We did a 5k walk and fundraiser for the AFSA( American Foundation for Suicide Awareness ) and ordered the shirts for in memory of my son, Sam, who killed himself in June. He is a United States Marine and his death has left a hole in our hearts.
I have started speaking at high schools and colleges telling " Sam's Story" in the hopes that it will help someone else. No mother should have to bury their child, especially not this way. "
