"On September 10, 2016, the Howard sickle cell division hosted it's 10th annual Stomp Out Sickle Cell walk in DC. Sick Cells is a media project that aims to spread awareness about SCD, the most common yet misunderstood genetic disorder in the US, through storytelling from the SCD community. Our goal is to put a face on this genetic disorder. Sick Cells interviewed SCD patients and their family members, took their photos, and gave out CustomInk water bottles as a token of our gratitude. Our volunteers, who received water bottles, sported the water bottles during the walk.
It was a pleasure working with CustomInk. The water bottles are high quality and the logo is beautiful on the front of the bottle. The best part is that CustomInk flawlessly printed tiny sketches on the back of the bottles that we personally designed ourselves. They really Sick Cells' vision to life. "
