Social Work Association Combats Homelessness

"The Social Work Association, known as SWA, is a group of students on Christopher Newport University's campus that works to advocate for social work related issues. We are passionate students at CNU, located in Newport News, VA, working towards combating issues in the community such as homelessness. We raised over $400 for a local agency which serves the homeless population, and even slept outside to simulate what it may be like to be homeless for an evening.
