Great cause!

I have reading your comtenms about Zune and I decided to respond. Zune, Iphone, Android they are all playing music but it is like asking the buyers what they prefer between GUCCI, DOLCE or unknown design.People don't really know Zune and Zune doesn't really advertise its products.What is cool to have? an Iphone or a Zune media player? You tell me. I bet all your friends have Iphone or androids because they are cool. It is about what the society is taught. The media dictates what people needs to use to be cool. Using Zune make people different. Ask a teenager what will happen if he/she carries a Zune at school instead of Iphone?Apple was in the media before Microsoft so the technology in Apple appliance for multimedia is more advance than Microsoft.Since the kernel of Apple is based on Unix and Android is Linux, They both can compete. As you can see any applications on iphone can be seen on Android but not on Microsoft devices. Microsoft is limited because it doesn't give freedom. It tells people what to do. Most Android and Iphone applications developer can go beyond and develop what people want to see on the phone, what people dream. Microsoft doesn't give that freedom to freelance developer or individual developer So Iphone and Android will keep going and the rest won't catch up. It just a matter of time with Microsoft. The money makes Microsoft survive on the market by buying small companies or impose its products on the machines. All computers comes with Microsoft Operating systems Ubuntu might change that dictate one day. But unfortunately those companies producing computers have a deal with Microsoft. So Zune needs to bring something new. What can Zune do more other players. In reality it just a player that's all.
