"MKB was diagnosed with ALS in 2013. He is the heart and soul of his family and friends. A former marine, friend to all and a man who woudn't stop to think twice to help those in need. His daughter and son and law designed this shirt and together with family and friends came together to support St. Peter's ALS Regional Center at their annual walk to defeat ALS at Saratoga State Park in New York. 450 shirts were purchased by family and friends. The photo displayed is of the Maple Hill Boys Varsity soccer team showing their support." - Stay Strong #20 (Apr 12, 2014)

This shirt was lovingly designed by Mike's daughter Andrea. She and her brother Rick have been constant support to their Mom and Dad. Coordinating the ALS walk for our "team", using the web to coordinate donations of food that people wanted to donate. The shirt mean so much to all the people who bought them. A reminder of the Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Brother in law, Uncle and friend that we all love and the battle he is so courageously fighting. The shirt incorporated his love and sense of duty to the Marine Corp, his love of his time playing high school football, his jersey number is 20, and his continued support of sports played at his alma mater Maple Hill High School. It also includes the hospital where he is receiving treatment for ALS, and of course our wish for him to Stay Strong #20. As you can tell by the number of shirts sold, all by word of mouth and face booking our family and friends, there was and continues to be so much love and support displayed by all. This shirt is surely the winner! Stay Strong # 20...Hoo Rah!!

The amazing thing about this picture is that every kid in this and many other pictures personally know Mike or know of him. This soccer team shows the love and support they have for Mike by buying and then getting to together with Mike to have this photo taken...Truly a tribute to Mike.
