"Our uncle tragically passed away a year ago from a blood clot, leaving behind six kids. In support of our cousins, aunt, and the rest of our extended family, we organized a 3K walk on the one-year anniversary of his death in partnership with the National Blood Clot Alliance. I'm with ya sister, on the high hihegs and low low's. Even 10 years after my mom's vicious stoke, I still occasionally lose it. Working in the hospital, i often am called to do an echocardiogram on a new stroke patient and it can break my heart all over again. it also does what it did for you . lets you see the other person through compassionate eyes. I'm reminded that as jesus sees our pain, how it must tear at his own heart, having been hurt so badly himself but he also must just be crazy with the anticipation of making my mom and your Joanne whole and agile again . not just restoring what those awful clots took but adding perfection to the mix!!! all i know is that there are a ton of tears to be wiped away some day! blessings to you.
