"Every year the Saint Thomas Academy Experimental Vehicle Team builds alternative energy vehicles to compete in engineering competitions around the nation. This year we are participating once again in the Shell Eco marathon in Detroit Michigan, April 23-24th. The Shell Eco marathon is a global competition that challenges students to push the boundaries of energy efficiency on the road, which gives our students the opportunity to become more innovative and collaborative problem solvers.
