Pops Crew 2013 by Pops Smith - 11 months ago
" This photo is of our family and friends fundraising for the ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease) Association. We have been involved with ALSA since 2004 and get together annually to do whatever we can to assist this worthy organization. My daughter found your website just in time to get the shirts for the event. We love the design and quality of the shirts and everyone at the walk commended us on the look! Thanks, Pops"
MawMaw's Angels by Patty - 11 months ago
"Our shirts were created for the Atlanta Walk to Defeat ALS on Sat, Sept. 21, 2013. MawMaw's Angels walked in memory of my mother, Jean Breedlove, who lost her battle with ALS only 7 months after diagnosis, on Christmas morning, 2012. CustomInk did a very professional job and I couldn't have been more proud to honor my mother's memory than with these shirts."
"Alone we can do little, together we can do much." (Helen Keller) by Deenie's Lightworkers - 11 months ago
"On Memorial Day 2013, Deenie's Lightworkers kicked off a fund raising campaign with a neighborhood pot luck. Our Honoree is Deenie Tiggle, diagnosed with ALS just a year ago, in center of photo. A Lightworkers is "any being dedicated to the cultivation of inner presence and the elevation of awareness in self and others." Our Walking Team is comprised of 25 Walkers and over 100 Virtual Walkers across 8 states and one European country. A second Deenie's Lightworkers Walking Team is forming in DC, Tiggle's hometown, and preparing for the October 20 ALS Walk there. Same beautiful t-shirts, same glowing smiles, same deep commitment to instilling hope for our loved ones who suffer this dreadful disease. While fund raising is a central focus of this event, we remember the words of Mother Teresa who said, "it's not how much we give, but how much love we put into giving.""
Team Bauer at Walk to Defeat ALS by Julia Bauer - 12 months ago
"On Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013, 19 spirited team members gathered to join the Walk to Defeat ALS in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Wearing red organic cotton T-shirts from Customink, Team Bauer not only "walked the walk," but "talked the talk," taking top honors for highest donations for a team, highest donations to an individual, and Julia Bauer, who is in her third year battling ALS, was honored as "Hero of the Year" by the ALS Association of Michigan. A big day, all around."
Purple Cobras by We will, we will ROCK YOU! - about 1 year ago
"From the movie 'Dodgeball,' we wanted to create simple shirts that were for the Purple Cobras. We were in a Fundraising Softball Tournament for Jennifer, whose daughter was on our team (3rd from right). She was diagnosed with ALS earlier this year and the tournament was to raise money for her family. We raised around $10,000 and our team took 2nd Place! It was a great weekend!"
