"On January 21, 2013, my father passed away suddenly from complications from lung cancer. I had planned to run the Rock n Roll New Orleans Half Marathon on February 24, 2013. The race benefits the American Cancer Society and I decided to run In Memory of my Dad. Three of my best childhood friends, who knew my dad well, decided to run the race with me so I had the shirts made up for all of us to wear. It was fantastic! My first half marathon and I had such great support and the whole while running for my dad. "
"Our Relay team takes an annual shopping during the winter to unwind and relax after the busy holiday season. This year we picked Indianapolis. We came over on February 23 and spent the night! We fundraise all year long for the American Cancer Society by selling our handmade jewelry at different events, some are organized by our team. Last year our team raised just over $25,000!! "We get a bunch of friends together for our annual trap shoot up at our ranch. This year we decided we needed a cause. We chose Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. We raised over $637 the day of our shoot with shooting games, (trap shoot for adults and .22 shooting for the kids), raffle, and bake sale. This bunch has big guns and big hearts! "

"Relay For Life at the University of Virginia is UVA's largest philanthropy around grounds and last year raised over $103,000 for the American Cancer Society! It is a year long fundraising event for the American Cancer Society which culminates in a 12 hour event in April to show that cancer never sleeps. These are a few members of our 75 student executive board wearing our new exec shirt from customink.
