"The fall back Saturday nightshift on our nursing unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston is the most dreaded of the year (Saturday 11/3). This year we decided to add some fun with custom sweatshirts. The front says: "Fall Back 2012 Late Night BIDMC" and the back says "When 12 Hours Just Isn't Enough!" At 2am, when the clocks were about to "fall back" to 1am we put on our shirts, ran to a clock, and took picts! It was the highlight of an otherwise very busy night! "We walked in the Boston Brain Tumor Walk in memory of my father, who passed away 20 years ago from a brain tumor. As a graphic designer, I created the design for the front and back, and had a great experience working with the in-house designers at Custom Ink. "Team Amy Victorious Secrets participated in The Jimmy Fund Walk - held on 9/9/2012 in Boston, MA. The walk follows the Boston Marthon route, all 26.2 miles including Heartbreak hill. The benefit raises money for Dana Farber Hospital to help fight cancer. Leading the team: Captain Amy - who is remarkly women battling breast cancer . "This summer, 18 of us rode our bicycles from San Francisco to Boston for HIV and AIDS affected youth in Rwanda. We rode for an organization called FACE AIDS. Along the ride, a newspaper wrote an article about our team with the headline "Iron Horse AIDS Fighting Riding Team." We decided we needed to wear that headline with pride, so we went to CustomInk and designed these lovely tanks. "Team Perkylators (three Keurig employees) did the Avon 2-Day Walk in Boston. 2 days, 40 miles, and no blisters! (Well, at least, no blisters for me - wish I could say the same for my teammates!) From a 4am wakeup on Saturday morning, camping out Saturday night, beautiful weather both days, regularly scheduled advil doses, amazing people along the way cheering us on (including some of you!), to a new appreciation for frozen peppermint patties, freeze pops and graham crackers with PB&J, it was an incredible experience. I'm not saying it was easy, but it was such an amazing experience, that we signed up for another one next year! We ordered team tee shirts for the Avon 2-Day Walk in Boston, but we ordered them a wk prior to the event, on a friday afternoon (bad planning on our part, we know!). I first worked on the shirts while IMing a representative, then I called to place the order and talked with a real person to get them rush delivered. They arrived on the Thursday before the event as promised, no problems! AND CustomInk even donated to the charity! I have nothing but excellent things to say about this company!"
