"We ran the Dirty Girl Mud Run in Wisconsin on August 18th. It was a BLAST! Some of the proceeds for this race are donated to breast cancer research which is wonderful but the real reason we entered this race was because of a family friend. This courageous woman beat her breast cancer into remission at age 29 and was unfortunately diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer again at 33. She is an inspiration to all of us. Working with CustomInk has been fantastic. They were timely, did great work, and even made a small donation ($20) to our family friend. Every little bit helps! We will definitely return here again for our future needs. "
"Nana York City was started by the grandchildren of Jeanne W. Cain. An incredible woman who lost her life to breast cancer. Nana found out about the cancer just after her 90th birthday. It spread very fast, giving her only a little time to fight. The graphic used for the shirt is Manhattan's George Washington Bridge. It's the view from Nana's apartment window, where my mother-in-law and my wife's aunts and uncles grew up. This For the Cain grandchildren, the image symbolizes all the wonderful memories they hold from visiting Nana and Papa at their apartment in New York City. Nana York City is our way of getting together to honor Nana's memory. "
"Rauer Power participated in the 2012 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Central Park, NY in September. This was our first year walking in this event and it was an awesome and inspiring experience. "This is our 3rd year supporting the KY Thorough Breast and the fight against breast cancer. The event we participated in was a dragon boat race on September 8th at A.J. Jolly Park in Campbell County Kentucky. The race consisted of 40 teams of 20 people each. This year, our team, "The Motor Boaters" motorboated to a 4th place finish!! Our team, that appears in the picture, consisted of our Saint Elizabeth Healthcare Edgewood Kentucky Respiratory Care Family. As you can see even our mascot "Andre" LOVES Custom Ink. "This run was to support Ann Mann, recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer. The sponsors of the event, Northwest Hope & Healing are the "first responders" for newly diagnosed patients. They make sure people know they are not alone in their upcoming battle. We made shirts to run in and for anyone coming to support Ann Mann. I loved my experience with Custom Ink. Every sales person I worked with over the phone was so helpful. The notes you put in the account were so helpful, so I didn't have to keep re-explaining what I might need.
