""North East Middle School" 6th-graders spent the week of October 4-8, 2010, at "NorthBay Adventure" (North East, MD). The camp's mission: Challenge middle school students to realize that their attitudes and actions have a lasting impact on their future, the environment and the people around them. As a parent chaperone and local orthodontist, I wanted to reward the girls in my cabin with a special gift; after a week of making new friends, facing challenges together, overcoming fears, enduring cold rainy days, learning new skills, practicing teamwork and developing a new appreciation for the environment... I wanted to give them a way to show-off their school spirit and accomplishments! Designing my shirts on CustomInk's website was a blast; the software program is simple and fun, making it really easy to be creative! "We are a group of Polish Girl Scouts, and our troop name is "Szarotki". Szarotki are flowers that grow in the Tatry Mountains in Poland. This picture was taken at camp this summer. We do many fun activities, play games, learn how to build stuff and how to survive in the woods. Working with CustomInk was great. They helped me match up colors, and gave me pointers on how to make the sweatshirts nicer. When I spoke to someone on the phone, they were very polite.
