"We are a group of 5 couples in Savannah, GA, called "Amuse Bouche"; we meet every 2 months for a themed gourmet dinner. We plan the dinner a month ahead of time at a group meeting; the host couple assigns cooking responsibilities, those responsible purchase the ingredients, and we show up at the hosts' home with food, utensils, equipment and all required accessories. Then we cook and eat it all, accompanied by appropriate wines as suggested by our local sommelier. This photo was taken during a break in the action during our Caribbean dinner June 29. We make quite a mess so we needed appropriate aprons. My son is a graphic designer so he created some logos and we voted on the one that appears on our aprons, produced quickly and expertly by the folks at custom ink. "Event was 26th birthday party for my son Taylor at the Icehouse in Riverside, Iowa on May 9th, 2009. Taylor's apartment building burned recently so we thought he needed a little break from the stress. We used one of his famous sayings and a priceless photo from a previous party and submited them to Custom Ink. Taylor was surprised and had a GREAT time.
