The proceeds from the benefit go to one senior boy and one senior girl at HAHS in the form of a memorial scholarship. The criteria for the scholarship is a student that displays Courage, Compassion, and Optimism throughout their high school experience. "Dash for Darrah is a Relay for Life team created for our college professor (woman on the back right), who's husband was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Dr. Darrah is a professor in the elementary education building at Kutztown University, and the t-shirts were purchased mainly by our elementary education students. We sold over 125 t-shirts this fall, and will be ordering more in the spring! All of the education students, sororities, and clubs are joining together to support the Darrah family on May 3rd/4th at the Macungie Relay for Life. "The sisters of Zeta Tau Alpha at Ohio Northern University held a powderpuff football game matching the alumnae "old timers" versus the actives "youngns." It was a chance for reuniting old and creating new friendships, for true sisterhood bonding. The event was called the Rosie Bowl in honor of our sister, Roselyn, who passed away due to adrenal cancer just 2 years ago at the age of 23. We raised money to donate, in her name, to Relay for Life. This one's for you Rosie! We miss and love you!"
