Thanks for Participating in VisionWalk 2012, Lucky! by VisionWalk 2012 - about 2 years ago
"Ivantis has partnered with Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) for the past 3 years in their VisionWalk fundraiser. FFB continually researches to find a cure for degenerative eye diseases that can lead to blindness in children and adults. This year we walked around Angel Stadium and some of our employees brought their dogs. Lucky (owner Tom & Judy Doan), joined us this year! Each year we decide on a team name and create a T-shirt. Working with CustomInk was not only effecient (creating a T on-line), when I called with questions, Melinda was a joy to work with. She answered all my questions and offered additional solutions. The shirts were a hit! I would definitely use them again."
Kickbutt Cancer Crew by Team Kickbutt - about 2 years ago
"These t-shirts don't represent an event, but rather a journey ... one that I am making with the help of my amazing friends. These women are scattered across North America, and have come together to support me as I wage war against Stage IV ovarian cancer. I was diagnosed in 2010 and then had a recurrence in March of this year. The first time around I was upset; the second time I was MAD! Hence, the slogan on the shirts (the back reads CHEMO SUCKS!). I think they accurately reflect the fighter in me - and also some truths about dealing with this disease. I have a lot of living left to do, and am determined to get through this round of treatment and get on with my plans! I sent my girlfriends these shirts and asked them to pose with their city name. I have them surrounding me in the photo because that's exactly how I feel - surrounded by their support, their friendship, and their love. They wear their shirts on the days I have chemo and knowing that makes me feel less alone as I take my place in my 'chemo chair'. It's no surprise to me that when all the other patients in the clinic see my shirt, they first have a good laugh and then soon admit to feeling the same way. It's amazing how a t-shirt can inspire conversation and bring people together. It's the same with my friends. Although they're not physically present with me, my 'team' is with me in thought and in spirit and as always, in my heart. I could not do this without them. The Customink experience was pleasantly easy - and the emails from Laney (including a charitable donation on my behalf) demonstrated the spirit of this company. I have so many requests for more shirts from friends, family, and complete strangers, I have no doubt that my 'Kickbutt" design isn't finished just yet!"
Walkin With Wylee by Gina - about 2 years ago
"This is a walk we did for Prader -Willi Syndrome. A cause dear to my heart. My five year old son and only child has PWS. It a syndrome that causes many issues the biggest being they are never full. That's right the part of the brain that controls when you're full doesn't work causing constant hunger, food seeking and sometimes life threatening obesity. These kids live a life where everything is locked up the fridge, cabinets and even the trash, calorie counting, food journals and excerise. So seeing everyone come out and support us is the best feeling in the world... that and our AWESOME shirts! We really stood out and loved it! Thanks Customink!!!! "

Morabito Mob - Hopewalk 2012 by Mob - about 2 years ago
"For the third year in a row, the Morabito Mob "Walked to Whack Cancer" in the Stewarts Caring Place Annual Hopewalk held in Fairlawn, Ohio in each May. This year was the toughest as it was the first year without our main Mobster, Patrick 'Pop" Morabito who lost his battle with cancer in August 2011. We ordered our awesome customink teamshirts for the first time in 2010 and reordered new ones this year to add a special message on the back for Pop. "
"We ran in honor of our son Jack who lost his battle with cancer at the age of 5 in Sept 2010. Team Jack was started in his name by a friend and now we run every year at the Long Island Marathon in New York. Our son had such an impact on so many people and we were so fortunate to be able to share him with all our friends. They all embraced him and loved him as if he was one of there own. With Jack's charity (Join A Cause for Kids...J.A.C.K.) off and running we hope next years event is even bigger. Thanks for the shirts everyone loved them...."
MIL CARES for the CURE! by The MIL Corporation - about 2 years ago
"The MIL Corporation, a mid-sized government contractor, recently participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event in Washington, D.C. Our community outreach program, "MIL CARES", was proud to gather a large team to support the fight against Breast Cancer on this beautiful day in June! Working with CustomInk was a pleasure from beginning to end. Their customer service was impeccable and the delivery arrived on time (and beautifully packaged, might I add!) The rep that helped with the order was very kind and patient-- she made sure everything was just right before processing. Thanks, CustomInk!"
