"We are Stepping Out because we are proud to do our part to put a STOP to Diabetes. We are committed to walk and raise money in this inspirational event not just because of the estimated 26 million diagnosed people in the United States have diabetes, but because we personally know some of them, and have the passion to do something about it.I personally am involved because I am one of the afflicted persons with this deadly disease. And YES...it is DEADLY!!! Every day I deal with the fact that if my sugar readings aren’t good, my family may find me dead in my bed. I have been very close a few times. I fight with this crappy disease EVERYDAY, EVERY MOMENT of my life! No matter what I do, this disease affects me from working out, to eating, to having a common cold. It just effects… EVERYTHING!! I get tired and have had irrational thoughts about giving up, but I keep on fighting because I am a proud warrior and I refuse to let this beat me with ease! Customink was just the blessing I was looking for. Each person that I had dealt with was curtious and so very helpful.
