"This past Sunday, the Canyon Crest Academy (a San Diego High School) Science Olympiad team won first place at the regional competition this past Sunday (Feb. the 17th) and is now moving on to state April 6th.
Over 80 students participated, and months of preparation and studying came down to one intense but rewarding competition day. Out of 23 events (and while competing against hundreds of other students) CCA earned 10 first places, and over 25 top-5 places.
The shirts were united the team, and no other school had such a unique and unifying symbol.
