Running on empty....but not for long! by Sandra Balzo - about 1 month ago

Running On Empty....But Not For Long! T-Shirt Photo

"I'm a mystery author (far right side, no make-up, please don't judge....) and also a runner, tennis player and coffee addict. I wanted to design a shirt that tied into both of my mystery series, but was also comfortable for working out in. "Running on Empty" is the title of the first book in my Main Street Mysteries and "Uncommon Grounds" is the first in the now 8-book Maggy Thorsen series, set in a gourmet coffeehouse. Since I run first thing in the morning, putting "Running on Empty" and the road design (which I pulled right off Custom Ink's website) on the front of the shirt and "Uncommon Grounds," with the road ultimately leading to a cup of coffee, seemed just the thing! Designing on the website was a snap and Custom Ink's Corinne Thompson was not only efficient, she was personable and fun to work with. She straightened up the image, made sure it was the right size and sent me a proof. I placed the order on Wednesday, March 6, had the proof on Thursday, March 7, and the shirts were shipped on Monday, March 11. I absolutely love them, as does my tennis team at Lauderdale Tennis Club in Fort Lauderdale, FL. They honored me by wearing them for our match on March 29 and here we are. "

"This was a funny illustration about my own face with a funny expression I usually do. I thought about printing it on a T-shirt and a friend talked me about this site, I checked it out and decided to print my t-shirt here. It was awesome and I got HAPPY when I got my new t-shirt."

Tv Producer And Crew Of The Creating Cooperative Kids Tv Show T-Shirt Photo

"I wanted to reward my crew of volunteer broadcast engineering students who help me produce the number on parenting show in the U.S., New Zealand, and South Africa. They proudly wore their CustumInk shirts for the first time and posed for a picture. These students work for pizza as they polish up their broadcasting skills while helping parents around the world, now to raise cooperative kids."
