"At 2.5 years old, my daughter, Jessica was diagnosed with type I diabetes. She currently wears an insulin pump and deals with needles, glucose checks, and monitoring carbohydrates on a daily basis. Through it all, at age 9, Jessica is the happiest, joyful child to be around. Her sparkling green eyes and cheerful personality would never let anyone know that she puts up with an illness that no child should ever have to. As team Jessica's Journey, we walk every year to support Walking for a Cure.
