"We are a High School Environmental Club. In our school, the recycling only gets done because we do it each week, so we are dedicated...and we CARE!! We are currently working on fundraising for environmentally friendly water fountains/bottle filling stations into the school. A sophomore student in our group designed the shirts (she actually drew a design just like it and was thrilled to find it so easily there at Custom ink). We edited it together as a group, collected money and a week and a half later, voila! There they were. "This is our club right after finishing broadcasting a webcast and panel discussion called Trash Travels that was viewed by students around the world! We are students at Washington Latin PCS in D.C., in an environmentalism and international studies program called Road to Doha in which students videoconference and collaborate in the US, Qatar, and Brazil. "This was taken in at the West Duwamish Greenbelt in West Seattle on Saturday, April 21 as part of celebrating Earth Month. Young adults from EarthCorps, pictured here, led 600 community volunteers on this sunny afternoon restoring the greenbelt by removing invasive plants and mulching. We gave away t-shirts to our first hundred volunteers, sharing the message "Do something good for the earth this April".
