"These hardcore mofos were rocking some CustomInk apparel at the Leprechaun Chase in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday. The guy on the left won First Place in his age group. "30 intrepid members of the NY Flyers Running Club volunteer annually to run a hydration station at the NYRR's NYC 1/2 Marathon. Yesterday, in real feel 22 degree weather, we donned our long-sleeved green collector's item NY Flyers Leprechaun Liquid Squad shirts to honor St. Paddy's Day and cheer on and hydrate a field of nearly 15,000 entrants in the race. We wore our CustomInk shirts proudly, got lots of compliments and braved the unusually frigid elements from 6 a.m. (set-up time) through 11:15 a.m. (shut down time after the last runners had passed us by). "My husbands name is Chuck and is the leader of our ski team. He has been doing this a long time and has a lot of experience. Last year a parent had stickers made up like the t-shirts and they were a big hit. We had the shirts made up for our ski race weekend and surprised him at a pre-race appreciation party. We gave the t-shirts away and asked anyone interested in donating to The Ride for Missing Children as both my husband and 15 year old son will be bike riding in May about 100 miles to raise awareness of missing and exploited children.
