"This was my farewell party at the Immune Disease Institute, Children's Hospital Boston/HMS. I wanted to thank my colleagues for an amazing scientific workplace. Usually part of the farewell gift is a Harvard Medical School T-shirt. But this time I surprised everyone with a T-shirt that had a logo mentioning the three main research areas of the lab: Integrins, von Willebrand Factor, and Malaria. After my advisor put his T-shirt on the whole lab followed suit and we took a group photo. It was the best party: T-shirts and cake! "We were having a going away party for my friend (I am the first one on the left and she is the second from the left) since she is moving from here in Boston to Seattle!
