MG walk with Billy by Karen - 5 months ago
"3/23/2014 My family walked to raise awareness of MG, Myasthenia gravis, a neurological disorder that my father was recently diagnosed with. My fathers only symptom was slurred speech, so our shirts were 'slurred speech doesn't always mean too much to drink'. We have gotten lots of comments and questions from the design, which was exactly what we wanted. (Plus they are so bright we can use them to direct traffic, haha)"

Buzzed Brothers by Batchmen - 9 months ago
"I made up T-shirts as a surprise for my brothers and our father. With the "t-shirt" encouragement, they were compelled to get their hair buzzed off to support our dad who is going through chemotherapy treatment. One of us received a "fatherly exemption" when he announced he was getting married in three weeks..."
In Honor of Our Dad, Joe. <3 by Team Jogging 4 Joe - 9 months ago
"On November 9th, 2013, twenty pairs of feet stomped the grounds of Irvine to walk in honor of our awesome dad, Joe Tumambing. Joe's life was cut short by an unfair opponent: pancreatic cancer. Team Jogging 4 Joe joined thousands of others in an effort to raise funds for the Pancreatic Action Network. We hope that our efforts will assist in finding earlier detection against this silent killer. And with the help of customink.com, we created unique shirts that helped us stand out in the 2013 Purplestride OC walk. "

Miles for Melanoma by Sparks Family - 10 months ago
"My father passed away in May from Melanoma. Our family..His wife, Redia (who is 75), Daughters Linda and Vickie , Son Eddie and Daughter in law Carol, entered a "MIles for Melanoma" race/walk in his memory in Nashville, TN in October. His motto while sick was Refuse to Lose and we called him Paw...we incorporated all this into the shirt design. Customink did a WONDERFUL job on the shirts, were more than prompt with delivery and took special care in packing, even shipped in pastic to protect from water. They were also kind enough to make a donation to our cause. We were recognized as the purple shirt team and proud to wear our t-shirts. Thanks Customink for your part in remembering our DAD!"
