QTs - Queens of the Trail by JL - 8 months ago

Q Ts Queens Of The Trail T-Shirt Photo

"We ran a breast cancer mud run in honor of our friend Mary (called her Queen Mary on the run!! She's the one in the middle of the group!) Mary found out last fall that she had breast cancer and we thought we would do this obstacle race together one year later knowing she beat the biggest obstacle of all! We called ourselves the QTs - Queens of the Trail! Custom Ink was incredible to work with, the price, the quality and the final product was exactly what we were looking for! Thank you for making this such a memorable experience. :)"

Lizathon by Team Run Liz Strong - 9 months ago

Lizathon T-Shirt Photo

"Our friend Liz was diagnosed a couple weeks ago with Colon cancer at 32... this was the note we sent to our friends... Liz had a dream to run NYC so she did what everyone has to do and put her name in the lottery. After 4 years of submitting her name and not getting the opportunity to run the she was automatically in for the fifth year. The dream would come true in November 2011. But then she had a minor toe injury that prevented training for the race. You are allowed to default one year after your acceptance, so that's exactly what Liz did, she delayed her run for one more year. Summer 2012 comes along and Liz starts her training up. She gets her miles in, spends early mornings lapping the lake and cross training getting ready for an amazing race. This time Hurricane Sandy came along and wrecked havoc on Liz's plans. All that hard work, the blood sweat and probably tears for her to not get to run the 5 boroughs put on hold until 2013. So that brings us to 2013. Liz's dream to complete the NYC marathon is on hold again. This time she has a much bigger battle to face so that one day she can complete the NYC Marathon. Since Liz can't complete the 26.2 on Sunday, which is the day of the NYC Marathon, WE (her family and friends) should do it for her and call it The Lizathon! Every one of us can walk or run a mile to help get the 26.2 miles in for her. ... We decided to do this on Tuesday and the race was on Sunday, big thanks to the CustomInk team helping us pull off the logistics in no time. Liz said "the docs said having this kind of support could be a game changer." "

Noreen's Angels by Kristen - 9 months ago

Noreen's Angels T-Shirt Photo

"We run every Sunday, and on Oct. 3, we ran Ridgefield's annual Half Marathon in memory of our dear friend Noreen, who passed away from Colon Cancer in June. She was an avid runner, but didn't like to race in town races, because they were like 'gym class'. So we ran for her, "Noreen's Gym Class Angels". Just another Sunday run. Her husband ran as well. CustomInk did a fabulous job, printing 35 shirts in four different sizes. Those who didn't run, cheered us along the route in their shirts."

In Loving Memory of Sue by North Central State Trail 2013 - 9 months ago

In Loving Memory Of Sue T-Shirt Photo

"This was taken outside our hotel in Gaylord, MI before our trip to Mackinaw City. We wore buttons in memory of Sue who was scheduled to go with us on the bike trip, but couldn't due to cancer. We decided to make this a yearly trip in her honor. The bike shirts were awesome, kept everyone together as a group, and very comfortable. CustomInk was a pleasure to work with: affordable, great quality, and very friendly staff. We will continue to your service in the future!"
