"We walked in the National Alliance for Mental Illness - NAMI - annual 5k walk in Portland, Maine. My wife, Alice, purple pants front right of picture, recruited Glenn Close to be the Walk Ambassador, did public service announcements and other fundraising efforts with Glenn, and they became good friends. Glenn really liked our shirts, which said "Thank You Glenn" on the back. This year's walk had double the normal number of walkers and greatly exceeded it's fundraising goal. "On November 10, 2007,the sisters of NCM and SGRho along with the brothers of ATO participated in a charity event for Children's Miracle Network. Our group, along with another 100 students, stood on their feet for over 21 hours. At the end of it all we recieved word that not only had ATO raised more money than any other campus organization, but also that our Greek Week trio had won the competition for the first time ever.
