"Greetings to CustomInk.com from Northern Kentucky University's Center of Environmental Education and ECOS. We are writing in response to your weekly photo contest and wish to submit a photo of the custom designed shirts. At NKU, ECOS (Environmentally Concerned Organization of Students) hosts an annual Earth Day that invites vendors and other pro-green organizations to help educate the public about environmental issues. Above is a photo from our last Earth Day 2009 celebration where our shirts helped start a(R)evolution. We had a great time hanging out, greening up the campus, and listening to the jazz band. Above In the photo with our mascot which has recently been renamed Victor Green out of response to NKU's new steps towards environmental awareness and concern. "This is our end of school year party for 2008-2009.A pilot program was started this year through MentorkidsUSA called "MENTORING WORKS". The purpose was to challenge high school students to give back to the community and to engage weekly in the life of an elementary age student. "Every April we celebrate National Laboratory Week. It's a week full of great food, fun games, and camaraderie. In addition to the "fun", we alway pick a charity to sponsor.... this year's was the Englewood Center for Food Action. We collected a truckful of food and over $600!
