Creatures Of The Night by Gina - over 1 year ago
"Creatures of the Night is running the Spartan Race in Citi Field next Saturday in honor of my mother that has thyroid cancer. Unfortunately for this race we don’t need donations to run it. If you would like, my mother is getting treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in NY and I’m sure they would greatly appreciate a donation of any amount from you guys. My mother’s name is Phyllis Zomer (in honor of)."
Mary's Warriors- Walk For Lupus by Stacy - over 1 year ago
"Me and my friends decided to walk in out our local Walk to End Lupus Now 5K walk in support of my mother-in-law who suffers from Lupus daily. We decided on the name "Mary's Warriors" and went with a military camo theme because we are all from the military lifestyle, so we wanted to find a camo shirt we could customize... which lead us to CustomInk. We were able to make a shirt we were proud of, and we got so many compliment on how unique and original our shirts were! :)"
"Wild About Wood" ladies, Loggers Day 2013 by Loggers Day 2013 - over 1 year ago
" All the girls in this photo have been participating in the annual Logger's Day event held at Nordman, Idaho for nearly 10 years. The events include a Cross-cut competition, Axe throw, Stock Saw and Tug-of-war. We all became friends while working for the Forest Service as wildland firefighters, so naturally this competition is right up our alley! The girl on the far left, Billie Washburn, was recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer, and the fact that she is still willing and able to participate, although going through a battery of treatments, is a true testament to her strength and determination to continue to live life through such a difficult time. We paid tribute to her and another friend battling ovarian cancer on the back of our shirts with a small ribbon embedded with their initials. This is our second time using Custom Ink to develop our team T-shirts. Our experience has been nothing but fantastic, and plan on using Custom Ink for our team shirts until we are too old and crippled up to participate! "

Our 1st 5K of many!!! by Libby's Brainiacs - over 1 year ago
"After losing our mother to brain cancer, we decided to participate in brain cancer/brain tumor 5K's in her honor. We were initially going to fly to NYC from South Florida in November 2012 to participate in our 1st 5K, but Hurricane Sandy got in our way. This past Sunday (4/21/13) we got together and participated in our first family 5K to honor our mom, Libby Vargas. We are called "Libby's Brainiacs". Thank you to Custom Ink, the t-shirts are exactly what we wanted to represent our growing team!"
