"Hinesburg VT's JDRF walk. Connor Sargeant (13 yr old team captain with Type 1 Diabetes) brought our team over from New York when our local walk was cancelled. Nothing can stop us from finding a cure. Connor and his team work by fundraising themselves and volunteering as advocates to work with our Congressmen and Senators to secure funding for research for a cure. We donate as much as we can because 80% of every dollar goes directly back to research. it can happen because of all these great volunteers. Wearing our awesome Custom Ink shirts allows us to put even more of our money to research and look great at the same time."

"On February 23, 2013 we did the JDRF walk for a cure. We walk every year at the Mall of America in Minneapolis. Our 13 year old is a type 1 diabetic and we hope and pray every day for a cure, this is one way we can support that. For years we have talked about making t-shirts and this year found an easy way to do it! Customink.com was great to work with and extremely helpful in not only making our shirts but also meeting our goal! The picture is showing off the cousins' back sides, but more importantly, the back of the shirt!!"

"Our son, Will (2nd from right), was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 6. He has been successfully living with Type 1 diabetes for 3 1/2 years thanks to funding provided by Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to help find new treatments and technology. Her team walked to raise research funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation! The event was held at Bicentennial Mall in Nashville, TN on September 29, 2012."

"My experience with Customink was incredible, we all loved our shirts so much. The service getting our shirts done and mailed to us was friendly and very quick. The shirts were ordered for the Juvenile Diabetes "2011 Walk For a Cure". The walk was a 5k walk at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. Our team is made up of family and friends of Dylan Klovenski. Dylan is a seventeen year old boy that was diagnosed 3 1/2 years ago at the age of thirteen with Type 1 diabetes (better known as juvenile diabetes). Each year we compile a team together to help fight for the cure of this life-threatenting disease. We will be back next year to order our 2012 JDRF shirts and hopefully our team will grown larger. "Our family and friends every year walk with us to help support Owen (my son 8 yrs. old) who has Type 1 diabetes. We walk at the Veteran Park in Bay City, Michigan the first Sunday in October. JDRF is amazing and everyone who works there so hard trying to find a CURE. We would also like to thank Customink for making sure we had our t-shirts on time. "Savannah's A1c Squad dressed up with an army theme, and did some warm up stretches with Bob the Builder to prep for the 4-mile JDRF Walk For a Cure (for Juvenile Diabetes) in Chicago on October 4. The team of 13 teenagers raised over $10,000 and we're extremely excited to be part of a great cause..with GREAT shirts too. "We participated in the JDRF Walk for a Cure in Hershey PA on Sunday October 21st. Our 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes just 8 months ago and it's been a tough road for our family. Our daughter decided she wanted to make a difference and spread awareness about Juvenile Diabetes so we formed a family team and participated in the walk. Our team, Sherylyn's Sunshine, raised over $1800.00 and the walk raised over $187,000.00!"
