Leah's Leapers by Leah's Leapers -- Finding a cure for T1 Diabetes - 11 months ago
"This is a photo of my 13 year old daughter, her friends, and her brother and his friends, all of whom walked for JDRF in Libertyville IL on October 6. Leah (in the front) has had diabetes for 3 1/2 years, and is an active fundraiser -- we raised over $3500 at the walk. Her friend and her brother's friends loved the T-Shirt, and all wore it to school the next day. It was a wonderful day and a terrific opportunity for us to show our support for Leah."
Ethan's Diabetes SMACKDOWN by Ryan Howell - 11 months ago
"Ethan Howell is a 7 year old with Type 1 Diabetes. He was diagnosed when he was just 3 years old and every day since has had to learn to manage and deal with the disease. Dealing with finger pokes and injections 6-10 times per day would be rough for most, but Ethan takes it in stride and never complains. Ethan decided he wanted to join in fundraising for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in hopes of finding a CURE some day. This picture was taken at the JDRF Walk to CURE Diabetes in Bay City, Michigan. Ethan and the family that helps care for him (all pictured) raised over $1,100 to find a cure! Ethan is a HUGE WWE Wrestling fan, so he helped design a t-shirt to shows that he wants to lay the SMACKDOWN to Diabetes! Working with Custom Ink on this design was fantastic. The customer service was outstanding and the final product was excellent. Ethan was so PROUD to see everyone wearing his team name. Clearly they were all having fun with their best wrestling pose too!"
Lindsey's Liberators by Lauri Lish - 11 months ago
"This was our team Lindsey's Liberators that participated in the JDRF walk to cure Diabetes walk at the California State Capitol on October 6, 2013. My daughter Lindsey was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 21 months old. She is now almost 10. Life with diabetes can never be spontaneous. It's a constant challenge. Many people think insulin is a cure, but it's not. Insulin keeps them alive. We decided last minute to do t-shirts. The people I worked with on the phone with CustomInk were great!! They helped me with design colors and with getting the correct type shirts. And I got my order earlier than I expected."
