Remembering Melon. by Eric Polin - over 1 year ago

Remembering Melon. T-Shirt Photo

"A fishing trip was organized for our good friend Melon, who had passed away 10 years ago. Although we are all from Miami, many of us traveled from as far as Las Vegas to keep his memory alive. The staff, understanding the importance of this event, had helped to make this trip very special for us. Although we had a small order of shirts, they treated us like we were a priority customer. The design and talent of the team goes a long way and helped us to create an amazing memory. The shirts made everyone smile, and more importantly, made us all feel like a group again. Thanks for everything!! eric"

Team Maddy's Way by March for Babies - over 1 year ago

Team Maddy's Way T-Shirt Photo

"This event is very near and dear to us. We walk in the March for Babies walk each year to honor our daughter Madeline who was born 1lb 3oz and remember her twin sister Megan who was born 12.9oz and became and angel shortly after birth. The walk is held in St. Cloud, MN at the university. We have used CustomInk for 2 years in a row and have absolutely LOVED their shirts and their promptness. They have also donated to our cause each year and that says a lot about their company! We will continue to order through them for as long as we walk! Thank You! "

"We have a group of teachers participating in a marathon relay to commemorate the victims of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary. Our team of educators will be participating in the race on Sunday, April 14, which is the four month anniversary of the shooting. Proceeds from the run will go to help making schools safer. I would like to thank Custom Ink for making the shirt making and buying process very easy. "

Great Grandmom's Birthday Blessing by - over 1 year ago

Great Grandmom's Birthday Blessing T-Shirt Photo

"My daughter-in-law, suggested having some family T-shirts made to honor the birthday of my mom that passed in January of this year. Her birthday was in April and most of her family and close friends met at the cemetery in Fort Worth, TX and had pastor Dave say a birthday blessing in conjunction with each one of us giving a statement of why we loved her. She was a joyful independent woman who volunteered in her church, community and state affairs. "Here I am you lucky people" was one of her favorite sayings. Customink was fantastic in carrying out T-shirt makings and sizes. "

"Our March for Babies team, Paige's All-Stars, walked in Wilmington on April 6th in honor of our precious daughter, Paige Elizabeth, who was stillborn nearly 2 weeks before her due date on November 20th, 2012. Walking to support the March of Dimes was such an amazing and touching experience. Our t-shirts we designed with CustomInk were perfect. Our team looked great, and everyone was proud to walk for such a great cause! Thank you, CustomInk, for helping to make our walk such a great experience!"

"Running with Steve Ruddy" by Rock n Ruddy - over 1 year ago

"Running With Steve Ruddy" T-Shirt Photo

"Steve Ruddy passed away on April 7, 2012 just as he was finishing a 10 mile run; he was almost home. Steve loved running and he played guitar and was passionate about music. When we heard that the Rock n Roll Half Marathon was coming to San Francisco for the first time, on April 7, 2013, we knew running or walking it was the right way to spend the day. Steve's dad, sisters, wife and many friends signed up (more tried to sign up but the race sold out too quickly!) to run. Another group of over 20 of Steve's friends took over an aid station, dressed in 80's rock outfits, and handed out water, gatorade and beer to thirsty runners. Any year that Steve didn't do the San Francisco marathon he was volunteering at an aid station. Unfortunately not everyone was in the group photo since some got the race start late and had to go straight to the start - 18 of us ran in honor of Steve. Someone running asked two of us which race our shirt was from since he hadn't seen it before, when we explained it he told us "that's really great, I actually feel his spirit with me right now" and he started running faster!"

Colon Cancer Challenge Team Photo 2013 T-Shirt Photo

"Every year, in late March or early April, I gather together friends and family for the annual Colon Cancer Challenge in Central Park in NYC. Some of us walk, some of us run, but all of us do it to remember loved ones we lost to the disease. I unfortunately lost both my father (2007) and my mother (2010) to the disease, and so I've become quite the poster boy for colon cancer awareness. This year we had our biggest team yet - 14 people - and I hope it grows as the years go on. :)"

Family at P. Taylor Hope Lodge Donation Drive by kbabineaux - over 1 year ago

Family At P. Taylor Hope Lodge Donation Drive T-Shirt Photo

"My cousin Gigi passed away three years ago from cervical cancer. She was 39 years old. My daughter decided to do a donation drive to the Patrick Taylor Hope Lodge, for her National Honor Society service project. Gigi and her parents stayed there free of charge as she went through very painful chemo treatments. It was very good for our entire family...especially Gigi's parents. We decided to make it an annual event. This year was the third year and I thought we should get t-shirts so that everyone one notice our group as we visited the French Quarter in New Orleans and hopefully ask questions about them. Hopefully more people can learn about this great place. Drew Brees knows about it. He donated a million dollars to renovate the lobby and rooms. It is fabulous. I started out by finding the website to customink online. Shea got me started, Erickka helped me to tweak things and Matt completed my order the next day. They were wonderful...and excited about what our group was doing. The shirts were in my hand 5 days after the order......and 6 days earlier than the promised date...I might add. The donation drive was a huge success and we ended our day with an outing to the Olive Garden, which was Gigi's favorite place to eat. Thanks Customink for making us one sharp looking group.:):)"

Celebration of Life by Jen - over 1 year ago

Celebration Of Life T-Shirt Photo

"My son was killed in a car accident on October 10, 2012. His 21st birthday would have been March 17, 2013 (St. Patrick's Day). His name was Patrick Papale, he was lovingly nicknamed "PP" by all his friends. I decided to have a Celebration of Life party to honor him on his birthday. A couple of friends of his came up with the "Happy St. PP's Day" for the front and the back has a memorial poem, his picture and then his dates. The shirt needed to be perfect for me. This day was a very important part of my healing process. My son will be forever loved and missed but with the help of customink.com there was little stress as far as the shirt was concerned. Every person that I talked was very interested in making sure my expectations were met and more, along with many seemed very sympathetic for my particular situation. Thank you very much."
