PurpleStride 2014 by Jeff's Joggers - 2 months ago
"On June 7th, over 2,000 family and friends joined together to run or walk to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer at the PurpleStride 5k run/2 mi walk. Our team, Jeff's Joggers, had a mix of 40 runners and walkers. Jeff, who our team was named after, lost his battle to this deadly cancer on February 10, 2014. Since it has only been a few long months without Jeff, we are new to this cause. Being at this event opened our eyes and showed us we were not alone in losing a loved one from this type of cancer, and it was very moving to see. We chose this specific pancreatic cancer event because in Jeff's younger days, he was an avid runner, competing in many races from a simple 5k to marathons. While most of our team walked, this picture only shows the few team members who ran the 5k."

We miss you, Jane!! by Team Dizzy Blonde - 3 months ago
"My sister died of Melanoma in March. She was 54 years old. Her friends, my other sister, my son, and I participated in the "Block Melanoma" walk on May 18, 2014 at the Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee Wisconsin. We called our team "Dizzy Blonde" because that was my sister's nickname affectionately given to her by our grandmother who also died of cancer. The walk proceeds fund cancer research at our Medical College and hospitals in the area. We had a great time celebrating my sister's life. We wore our shirts to a local restaurant for lunch and we received a lot of positive comments and well wishes."

With the help of CustomInk we created a shirt with a ring saying "Yes" for our bride, and "That's what she said" shirts for the bachelorette party! We did a pedal pub all over Milwaukee, WI and got tons of compliments on our creative shirts! Wouldn't have been possible without CustomInk and their awesome team!"
5 Years of Climbing for the Climbing Cahlamers! by Natalie and the Climbing Cahlamers - 4 months ago
"This is the Milwaukee American Lung Association Fight for Air Climb on March 22, 2014. Participants climb 1,034 steps to the top of the tallest building in Wisconsin. It's the 6th year for the Climb, and our team's 5th year participating in it. Our team has grown from 4 participants to 13, and from raising a little over $2000 to raising over $8500! Almost everyone on our team has a personal connection to lung disease or lung cancer. This was the first year our daughter, Hannah (who has asthma), participated. She is 8 years old. Working with CustomInk was easy, convenient, and best of all they contributed to our fundraising goal!"

Johnson family reunion by Johnson Family - about 1 year ago
"The whole family hasn't been able to get everyone together for over 5 years and finally it happened in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 4th of July weekend. The original Johnson family is wearing the red shirts, the spouses in blue, and all the cousins in black. We all enjoyed wearing out matching shirts all weekend through the countless games of volleyball, flip cup, and minute to win it. The shirts were also great cover ups when we were out on the boat and by the pool. CustomInk was very easy to work with and so helpful throughout the design period. Also the shirts were delivered ahead of schedule which made grandma not worry as much as usual ;) "
