Doing the Nana Walk! Fight to end Alzheimer's! by Nana's Walkers - 7 months ago

Doing The Nana Walk! Fight To End Alzheimer's! T-Shirt Photo

"This is a team photo of our family and friends at the Northeast Division Alzheimer's walk in Andover, MA in September 2013. Our Nana passed away from Alzheimer's and we do this walk for her. We were all very close to her and it was very hard to see her fight this disease. We know she is with us every step of the way doing her "Nana Walk", while we try to keep up with her! Every year we continue to add to our team of friends who want to end Alzheimer's. This was our biggest team yet and we will continue to grow!"

Paw Paw Landing by Dribble Creek Historical Society - about 1 year ago

Paw Paw Landing T-Shirt Photo

"We go on a family camping trip every summer to maintain our togetherness, sense of family history and love of nature. Nana is still a Girl Scout at 78! Each year a different place to explore and adventures to create. This year was Eastern Shore and a day of awesome crabbing( got a whole bushel) fishing, swimming, boating, BBQ and tons of laughter. We made a new shirt this year, very last minute and the folks at Custom Ink helped "tweak" our grandfathers art and delivered the shirts even a day ahead of schedule! We love supporting small businesses that employ people who know their jobs!! Our shirts made us feel connected and special. Nana, brothers, sisters, in-laws and cousins and the best friends- awesome weekend! Now we will wear our shirts for the Alzheimer's walk a thon in October in support of our father who passed away. "

Team Nana York City by Nana York City - almost 2 years ago

Team Nana York City T-Shirt Photo

"Nana York City was started by the grandchildren of Jeanne W. Cain. An incredible woman who lost her life to breast cancer. Nana found out about the cancer just after her 90th birthday. It spread very fast, giving her only a little time to fight. The graphic used for the shirt is Manhattan's George Washington Bridge. It's the view from Nana's apartment window, where my mother-in-law and my wife's aunts and uncles grew up. This For the Cain grandchildren, the image symbolizes all the wonderful memories they hold from visiting Nana and Papa at their apartment in New York City. Nana York City is our way of getting together to honor Nana's memory. "

Nana's 70th Birthday by Celebrating Nana's Birthday - almost 3 years ago

Win Nana's 70th Birthday T-Shirt Photo

"We made t-shirts to celebrate Nana's 70th birthday (green for the boys and pink for the girls). The kids loved having their names and ages on the back of their shirts; even Nana didn't mind! We celebrated her birthday with a hike in NH's White Mountains and a night in an AMC hut. The colors made it difficult to lose the kids and they loved wearing them for the occasion! The front had a picture of a tree and mountains with the captions: "We are hiking for Nana" and "Est. 1941". "

Havana Nana Turns 80! by Havana Nana - over 3 years ago

Havana Nana Turns 80! T-Shirt Photo

"For Nana's 80th birthday, her entire family took her to Cuba to celebrate this momentous occasion. In Cuba, specifically Havana, Nana, her 4 children and spouses, and 10 grandchildren worked on as humanitarians. It was her youngest grandson who came up with the clever name for the trip- "Havana Nana"."
