Team Nana York City by Nana York City - 8 months ago

Team Nana York City T-Shirt Photo

"Nana York City was started by the grandchildren of Jeanne W. Cain. An incredible woman who lost her life to breast cancer. Nana found out about the cancer just after her 90th birthday. It spread very fast, giving her only a little time to fight. The graphic used for the shirt is Manhattan's George Washington Bridge. It's the view from Nana's apartment window, where my mother-in-law and my wife's aunts and uncles grew up. This For the Cain grandchildren, the image symbolizes all the wonderful memories they hold from visiting Nana and Papa at their apartment in New York City. Nana York City is our way of getting together to honor Nana's memory. "

Nana's 70th Birthday by Celebrating Nana's Birthday - almost 2 years ago

Win Nana's 70th Birthday T-Shirt Photo

"We made t-shirts to celebrate Nana's 70th birthday (green for the boys and pink for the girls). The kids loved having their names and ages on the back of their shirts; even Nana didn't mind! We celebrated her birthday with a hike in NH's White Mountains and a night in an AMC hut. The colors made it difficult to lose the kids and they loved wearing them for the occasion! The front had a picture of a tree and mountains with the captions: "We are hiking for Nana" and "Est. 1941". "

Havana Nana Turns 80! by Havana Nana - over 2 years ago

Havana Nana Turns 80! T-Shirt Photo

"For Nana's 80th birthday, her entire family took her to Cuba to celebrate this momentous occasion. In Cuba, specifically Havana, Nana, her 4 children and spouses, and 10 grandchildren worked on as humanitarians. It was her youngest grandson who came up with the clever name for the trip- "Havana Nana"."
